Are you ready to enhance teaching and develop students' key competences?
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Leaders in the Making: Unlocking the Future is an innovative Erasmus+ KA2 project designed to enhance educators’ teaching capabilities while fostering the development of students’ life and entrepreneurial competences alongside language acquisition. The primary goal of this initiative is to equip teachers with effective coaching techniques that promote critical 21st-century skills, including problem-solving, communication, and leadership.
The Leaders in the Making project enhances educators’ skills in 21st-century and entrepreneurial competencies to improve adult education. By providing innovative teaching materials and coaching techniques, it empowers teachers to mentor students in key areas like entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and collaboration. The project also promotes active citizenship and leadership development, equipping learners with the skills to engage in their communities and professional lives.
The Leaders in the Making toolkit is a digital resource designed to enhance teaching and learning. It includes teaching materials, task-based activities, lesson plans, self-assessment tools, and teacher guidelines to support the development of life, entrepreneurial, and language competences. By integrating coaching techniques, the toolkit empowers educators to enrich their curricula, helping students build essential 21st-century skills, leadership qualities, and active citizenship.
The project primarily targets language teachers and teacher trainers in private language schools, adult education institutions, secondary schools, and universities across both public and private sectors. It equips them with coaching techniques and tools to make language learning more engaging and effective. The secondary target group is adult English language learners across the EU, who will benefit from enhanced life and entrepreneurial competences, improving their employability and lifelong learning skills. While focused on English, the project’s approach can be adapted to other European languages.
The results of this project include tailored presentations designed specifically for student learning, comprehensive lesson plans to guide educators in delivering effective training sessions, and self-assessment and team-assessment questionnaires to support student evaluation. Assessment guidelines will also be provided to assist educators in tracking student progress and performance. The main outcome anticipated is the widespread implementation of the Toolkit by language educators, leading to enhanced teaching competences and the development of essential life skills among students.
